The Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) comprises 11 in-patient beds, delivering high-quality care for stroke patients. We provide evidence-based multidisciplinary Level 2 care, including thrombolysis.
Care is delivered through a multidisciplinary approach with 7-day physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy services.
Patients may be transferred to a regional tertiary centre if needed or continue their recovery at the Stroke Recovery Unit.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager to lead and develop our team. The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach, experience supporting high standards of nursing care within the acute medical pathway, and excellent clinical leadership and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
