Offer | £50,000 - £75,000 per annum
We are recruiting for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a highly regarded Yorkshire firm with a strong regional reputation and award-winning claimant team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative environment handling high-quality, predominantly recommendation-based work.
You will join a well-established clinical negligence team recognised for its expertise and training culture, offering genuine long-term progression and manageable caseloads focused on quality over volume.
Typical duties would include:
* Managing a claimant clinical negligence caseload of multi-track matters from instruction through to conclusion.
* Advising clients sensitively and clearly throughout the claims process.
* Instructing counsel, medical experts and other third parties where required.
* Drafting legal documentation and preparing matters for litigation and settlement.
* Attending court and undertaking advocacy where appropriate.
* Supporting business development activity and maintaining strong referral relationships.
The successful candidate:
* Has 2–6 years PQE handling claimant clinical negligence matters.
* Is confident running their own caseload of complex, multi-track files.
* Demonstrates excellent client care and communication skills.
* Possesses strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
* Works well independently whilst contributing positively to a team environment.
APIL accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential.
