About The Role
As a Barista, you will be a key part of our
front-of-house team, delivering a welcoming and professional café experience
for every guest. You will combine exceptional customer service with
high-quality beverage preparation, ensuring each interaction reflects the standards
and hospitality ethos of Absolute Taste.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where energy,
attention to detail, and pride in presentation are essential. From crafting
coffee to maintaining immaculate service areas, you will play an important part
in creating a vibrant and efficient environment. In addition to your core café
responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to gain experience across
our restaurant, staff restaurant, and event operations, supporting seamless
service in a variety of dynamic settings.
The role is ideal for an enthusiastic, reliable individual
who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys engaging with customers
while maintaining consistently high operational standards.
Location: Mercedes Benz World, Weybridge, Surrey
Behind the Brand :
Mercedes-Benz World is a premier automotive
attraction located at the historic Brooklands racing circuit in Weybridge,
Surrey, offering free entry to explore three floors of interactive exhibits,
classic cars, modern Mercedes-AMG models and Formula One cars. It features
thrill-seeking driving experiences on track and off-road, simulators, and
family-friendly activities.
Absolute Taste operates The Recharge café, the Bistro
restaurant on the top floor with views over the racetrack and Surrey
countryside as well as a staff restaurant for up to 250 staff.
We are the sole providers for all events at Mercedes-Benz
World and can deliver multiple events per day from small corporate meetings to
expo’s and conferences for 800 guests.
Your Key Responsibilities as a Barista will be :
Customer Service & Front of House
* Welcome
customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner
* Be
knowledgeable about our products and make recommendations
* Take
customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Process
payments confidently
* Run
food orders from the kitchen to tables
* Update
signage and displays to attract customers
Beverage & Food Preparation
* Prepare
high-quality coffee and tea
* Serve
food and beverages to customers
* Adhere
to all food safety regulations and quality standards
Operational & Stock Management
* Clean
and restock work and dining areas
* Monitor
inventory levels
* Replenish
items in display cases, at tables, and behind the counter
* Maintain
an organised, hygienic workspace at all times
