Key Recruitment have a new opportunity for a Sous Chef to join an award-winning 2 AA Rosette restaurant, based in a 4* hotel in Chichester.
£35,000
Full time - 5 out of 7 days including evenings and weekends
Your role will include, but will not be limited to:
* To support the Head Chef with cost management, including margin control, food revenue, payroll cost control and Capex management
* To support with the development of food concepts – writing, costing and implementing menus
* To lead by example by offering excellent levels of service and professionalism and supporting the team to develop their skill
* Work closely with suppliers to ensure value for money and minimal wastage
What you'll need:
* NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery & Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
* Proven relevant experience of working in similar standard Food and Beverage operations
* Previous experience of managing a team is desired
* Enthusiasm for what you do
* Ability to build long-lasting collaborative relationships
* A team player with a sense of fun and focus on high quality service
* Genuine passion for creating an exceptional dining experience
