Job Title: Room Leader
Location – Gloucestershire College, Llanthony Road, GL2 5JQ

The Role
Our Room Leaders play a critical role in the successful operation of our world-class nursery. This role will be focused on providing the very best care for our children and our colleagues.

What you’ll need to succeed
* Passion and dedication to providing world class care to children
* To hold a full and relevant early years qualification of Level 3 or above
* Prior experience of looking after children from 3 months to 5 years
* Strong communication skills and a team player
Responsibilities
* You are responsible for the day-to-day management of your own room encouraging good practice and being a good role model
* Provide the BEST experience for all children with safety and their wellbeing at the centre of focus
* Promote positive working relationships with the parents and colleagues within your room
* You are responsible for supporting your colleagues in ensuring that they are completing planning, milestones and observations to the highest standards
* Drive a fun, action-packed day of activities, following the EYFS framework
* Communicate with the parents – complete observations, maintain records & note next steps
* Provide an enhanced and positive mealtime experience
* Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
