Service Manager – CQC Registered
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Service Manager to oversee a single-person supported living service in Slough. You will lead a team of Specialist Behavioural Support Workers, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care that meets CQC standards and promotes the individual's independence, safety, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC, safeguarding, and company standards
* Line manage, support, and develop a team of seven staff, embedding Positive Behaviour Support practices
* Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans
* Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and reporting to ensure service efficiency
* Build and maintain strong relationships with families, health professionals, and local authorities
* Promote a positive culture focused on quality of life and staff development
What We're Looking For:
* Experience managing supported living or registered services for adults with learning disabilities and autism
* Knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, MCA, DoLS
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Calm, resilient, and committed to excellent care
* Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or willing to work towards)
