In doing so we provide services to importers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and distributors. Crucial support and continuous improvement
As an Application Engineer for Thermotraffic you play a central role in the configuration, support and continuous improvement of a WMS platform. You operate at the heart of complex international supply chains, collaborating with cross-functional teams including logistics, IT, and operations to understand business needs and translate them into system requirements.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include
* Providing first-line support to end-users and resolving application-related issues, including scanners, printers and data exchange with customers (EDI).
* Assisting in the configuration, testing, and deployment of new WMS solutions.
* Participating in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects.
* Documenting processes, configurations and user guides.
* Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying areas for improvement.
You report to the Team Leader Business Applications.

Requirements
* 3-5 years of experience in application support or software implementation.
* Knowledge of warehouse or logistics processes is a strong plus.
* Knowledge of ProWMS (Aptean / Principal Logistics WMS) or Boltrics is a strong plus.
* Strong written and spoken English language communication skills.

Thermotraffic is currently in the process of standardizing all three of its WMS systems into a single platform. All 12 cold stores in Great Britain and the Netherlands are being transitioned to a unified system. You will be part of the project team responsible for this major transformation.
