GSL Education are currently appointing a committed Maths Teacher to work within schools across Sheffield, supporting students in the S5 and S9 postcode areas and promoting a positive attitude towards mathematics. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that strengthen logical thinking, numeracy, and academic progress, helping learners grasp key concepts and apply them confidently in class and real-life situations. Core Responsibilities of Maths Teacher: Deliver well-planned maths lessons aligned with curriculum requirements. Support students in developing numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Track progress and provide clear, meaningful feedback. Encourage participation and maintain high standards of behaviour. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support learning outcomes. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching mathematics. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt lessons for different abilities. Confident classroom management and clear communication skills. A professional and reflective approach to teaching and safeguarding. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
