A day in the life
A day in the life of a vendor manager starts with looking into the vendor’s trailer repair & maintenance performance, deep dive to understand if there are any misses from the vendor’s end, provide feedback for the same and build plan to increase the vendor’s performance to ensure lower downtime of the trailers. Also, interact with internal stakeholders for different projects undertaken for the year based on the Big Rocks for the Fleet Team. A vendor manager also looks into the invoices shared by the vendor for the work done and approves the same for the payment.
