SF Recruitment is working with a growing business in South Wigston to recruit a Purchasing Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and purchasing experience who's looking for a busy and varied role.
What You'll Be Doing:
As Purchasing Assistant, you'll help keep the purchasing function running smoothly by:
Allocating branch stock adjustments to the right team members
Processing data updates and ensuring accuracy
Making sure company stock is used before ordering more
Chasing up purchase orders and keeping things on track
Supporting the team with twice-yearly stock checks
On the admin side, you'll also:
Oversee purchase order allocations and approvals
Source specialist products and negotiate the best prices
Manage enquiries and quotations to keep things moving efficiently
