Project Location: Aberdeen, Scotland - UK
Experience in Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor or Substation
Must hold either a EU Passport or Residency in Ireland
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a high standard of service and support to the Project Manager.
* Manage, mentor, and provide guidance to Planners and Junior team members as needed.
* Review contract documentation, identifying key scheduling and tracking requirements.
* Develop the construction schedule using the high-level target schedule and WBS provided by the Project Manager.
* Assist with client schedule negotiations.
* Populate the schedule with labour and metrics based on hours and quantities from the Commercial Team.
* Create necessary trackers and reporting templates.
* Collaborate with the Main Contractor and Project Manager to develop a fully integrated construction schedule.
* Measure and track weekly progress and efficiency, working closely with the Site Team, and formally validate with the Commercial Team every 2-3 weeks.
* Proactively identify potential risks and obstacles, keeping the project team and lead planner informed.
Qualification
* Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience with proven ability to develop and implement plans, as well as monitor and manage project progress.
* Proficient in creating detailed project plans using design and commercial data.
* Skilled in coordinating and managing the development of plans across multiple projects.
* Competent in using planning software such as Microsoft Project or P6, along with Microsoft Office tools.
* Excellent report-writing skills with a strong focus on clarity and detail.
