Client is a happy eleven year old boy who enjoys watching his ipad and playing with sensory toys. He has autism, global developmental delay and cardiopulmonary hypertension. We are looking for a friendly, experienced carer to help support him at home and occasionally to go out into the community. To help support family life and to be with client if his parents and siblings are going out or busy with other tasks. This is a hands-on, one-on-one care role focused on helping our child with everyday activities and ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being. You’ll be supporting: Daily care routine (toileting & feeding) Communication and sensory play, using visuals or alternative strategies Simple educational activities or therapy tasks Managing challenging behavior calmly and positively Keeping their environment safe, clean, and organized Accompanying on outings & therapy appointments. Taking him in sensory playground.
