The working hours for this role are expected to be Monday to Friday, 15:00 - 17:45. The start date for this role is Monday, 2nd February 2026. This role is Fixed-Term until 31/08/2026.
River Mead School is seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Wrap Around Care Lead Teacher Assistant. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include leading the day‑to‑day organisation of Wrap Around Care provision, providing high standards of care and play opportunities for children. You will have the ability to develop opportunities which encourage children's social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development through play. The successful candidate must be able to maintain a safe, secure and stimulating play environment and be comfortable reporting any safeguarding concerns to the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) at the earliest opportunity.
