Role Overview
Supporting the Store Manager, you will serve as a vital link between management and sales staff. You will be responsible for various store processes, overseeing specific areas of the shop floor, monitoring and driving sales, and suggesting improvements to enhance store performance.
Customer Service Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service at all times.
* Handle customer complaints and inquiries to ensure positive outcomes.
* Maintain the personal appearance of sales staff in line with company guidelines.
* Understand and analyze reports from the Customer Service measuring program.
* Achieve or exceed sales targets.
* Monitor daily sales staff performance.
* Manage in-store devices to ensure comprehensive product range availability.
* Utilize reports for product placement and key selling lines.
* Understand metrics like Footfall, ATV, and Conversion, and apply them in store strategies.
* Use visual techniques to attract, engage, and motivate customers to purchase.
* Maintain the store to the highest standards, keeping stock and the environment clean and presentable.
Training & Development
* Promote personal growth within the store.
* Ensure team members complete relevant training assessments.
* Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
Skills, Experience & Knowledge
* Retail management experience is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
