Monitor fleet performance and driver hours to maintain compliance and productivity.
Customer & Internal Communication
*
Communicate proactively with customers about delivery times, order updates, and any potential delays.
*
Work closely with Production, Packaging, and Warehouse teams to align delivery schedules with manufacturing output.
*
Support the invoicing process and resolve any order or billing queries promptly and professionally.
Planning & Documentation
*
Prepare and maintain export documentation including Commercial Invoices, CMRs, and Dangerous Goods Notes (DGNs).
*
Keep accurate records using SAGE200 and the internal filing system to ensure full traceability and compliance.
*
Confirm loaded and delivered weights daily, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
*
Verify that Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) are completed before dispatch.
Optimisation & Improvement
*
Analyse customer order trends and telemetry data to forecast and plan deliveries proactively.
*
Identify opportunities to reduce transport costs and improve operational efficiency.
*
Monitor delivery performance and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
Teamwork & Compliance
*
Collaborate with drivers, allocating routes and start times while addressing issues quickly and professionally.
*
Follow all Health & Safety, environmental, and compliance procedures.
*
Support colleagues with goods-in processes and wider logistics tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
*
Previous experience in transport planning, logistics coordination, or fleet management.
*
Strong communication and organisational skills.
*
Confident using logistics or ERP systems (experience with SAGE200 is a plus).
*
A proactive mindset with a focus on efficiency and customer service.
*
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Why You’ll Love This Role
*
Be at the centre of operations — connecting production, customers, and logistics every day.
*
Join a friendly, supportive team that values collaboration and continuous improvement.
*
Enjoy a varied role with real responsibility and the chance to make an impact
