MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT – SPECIALIST LOGISTICS

£30,000–£35,000 + full study support

We’re hiring for a well-established specialist logistics business with a strong reputation in its field. This role sits within a small, supportive finance team and offers broad exposure across core accounting processes.
It’s a good fit for someone early in their finance career who is studying (or planning to) and wants a role that will develop alongside them — with genuine scope to grow responsibility over time.
WISH LIST
* Experience working within a finance team, ideally in an SME environment
* Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work
* Motivated to learn, develop, and progress within finance
THE ROLE
* Collate and account for third-party costs across projects
* Manage and process storage billing
* Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
* Perform bank reconciliations and investigate variances
* Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns
* Provide cover across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Assist with month-end close activities
* Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
* Work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate cost tracking
* Support improvements to finance processes and controls
* Contribute to building a reliable and well-run finance function
YOUR PROFILE
* Actively studying towards AAT, ACCA, or CIMA (or planning to start)
* Effective communicator – written & verbal
* Good working knowledge of MS Excel
* Experience in a transactional or junior finance role
* Proactive approach with strong attention to detail

* 3 days in office, 2 from home
