We are the leading provider of Stolen Vehicle Recovery services in the UK, with strong additional capability in fleet and insurance telematics. We have two genuinely unique selling points, the proprietary VHF technology we use and the formal relationship we have with UK policing, which clearly differentiate us from our competitors. As part of the work that we do with UK policing we are making a genuine difference to society by helping to tackle organised criminality; in 2025 alone, we helped them close down 78 chop shops, whilst supporting on multiple investigations.

Purpose of the Role

Tracker is currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager, to join a well‑established market leading Telematics and Stolen Vehicle Recovery Company based in Uxbridge.

Tracker is a subsidiary of CalAmp, a pure‑play pioneer of the Connected Car, Connected Truck and broader Internet of Things (IoT) marketplace, based in California.

With vehicle theft at a 15 year high in the UK, and increased public recognition of its prevalence, there is an increasing requirement for Tracker's services. Insurance companies are significantly increasing premiums, and in the case of a number of higher risk, more valuable vehicles, people are struggling to get insurance at all.

We are looking to build on this competitive advantage with an increased focus on the B2B market. As Sales Manager, you will report directly into the Sales Director, Automotive, to drive our sales strategy and deliver solid, profitable revenue growth. You should have a proven track record of over delivering against targets, experience in the automotive space, and an excellent network across dealer groups, OEM National Sales companies and lease and rental channels.

Training provided; online training modules covering sales and product knowledge, CRM training, shadowing team on customer visits and broader business management welcome and overview meetings.


Objective

To deliver significant, profitable revenue growth through a team of field sales professionals.


Main Responsibilities

* Creating, building and developing new, effective working relationship with automotive dealer groups throughout the UK, so that they realise the full benefits of using our company's leading‑edge fleet and stolen vehicle recovery & telematics solutions
* Execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the sector
* Develop a pipeline worth a minimum of 3 times your annual revenue target with a view to sign a minimum of 1 new dealership per quarter within the appropriate services & solution offering
* Keeping abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic input to the senior team but also planning and managing the full relationship between the business and the clients
* Effectively collaborating with product design and application, logistics, sales support, and marketing teams
* Attend event & networking meeting to identify key prospects and represent Tracker
* Use Tracker CRM systems to record all client communications
* Attend customer review meeting to extract additional value and realise total contract value


Primary Requirements

* Motivated by achieving customer satisfaction, through customer care and exceeding goals.
* Can provide evidence of proven success within the Automotive sector with solution selling experience to fully understand potential clients' businesses and to build relationships with key stakeholders for mutual business gain.
* Experience of working for an automotive dealer group company in a key role.
* Excellent people and communication skills, enthusiasm, determination, fortitude, an ability to build relationships and to successfully influence and inspire others or gain consensus.
* Proven problem‑solving skills and ability to devise and implement strategies to benefit both the company and our clients.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Driving new business opportunities.
* Maximising client business opportunities.
* Developing client solution programmes, leveraging on the potential return on the investment.
* Managing budgets.


Other Qualifications Considered a Plus

* Degree level education
* Experience with telematics insurance
* Experience in large multinational companies
