As a DevOps/DevX Consultant at a leading global consulting firm, you will be part of the Cloud Advisory team within the broader Business Technology division. This team supports organizations in leveraging cloud technologies to drive growth, enhance business and revenue models, ensure compliance, and reduce environmental impact.
The position is mainly remote with occasional travel to clients in either London, Manchester, Newcastle, or Glasgow. Likely to be 1/2x per month.
In this position, you’ll provide strategic DevOps guidance that enables clients to adopt, scale, and innovate in cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* DevOps Enablement: Evaluate, design, and implement DevOps practices to improve agility, innovation, time-to-market, and cost-efficiency.
* Developer Experience Modernization: Enhance the developer journey across organizational culture, DevOps methodologies, tooling, automation, architecture, and design principles.
* Investment Optimization: Help clients maximize value from their existing ITSM tools and frameworks.
* Strategic Planning: Create roadmaps to advance DevOps maturity using emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Platform Product Management.
* Collaborative Transformation: Engage with stakeholders across all levels to co-create and implement modern technologies, processes, and operational models that lead to lasting transformation.

Your Profile
We’re looking for individuals with the following background and skills:
* Experience in lean process design and IT/business automation across product, engineering, and operations teams.
* Confidence in client-facing and advisory roles, with a strong foundation in agile transformation.
* Ability to define and measure OKRs/KPIs, optimize processes for speed and quality, and drive product-focused operating models.
* Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), developer experience, observability, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
* Bonus: Familiarity with observability platforms and practical experience working with development teams to enhance monitoring and telemetry practices.
