Fire & Security Engineer – Middlesbrough
A leading UK-wide facilities management provider is looking for a Fire & Security Engineer to support retail sites across Middlesbrough.
This is a field-based role delivering PPM and reactive maintenance across fire and security systems, working within a structured, compliance-led environment.
The Role
* Service, maintain and repair Fire Alarms (BS 5839), CCTV, Access Control, EAS and PA systems
* Carry out planned maintenance and reactive call-outs
* Ensure systems remain compliant and fully operational
* Liaise with site teams and complete digital reports
* Participate in on-call rota
Requirements
* Experience with Fire Alarms and CCTV (essential)
* Knowledge of BS 5839 standards
* Electrical qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds)
* Full UK driving licence
* Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
