A supportive alternative provision is looking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to work closely with secondary-aged pupils who have experienced barriers to learning and may display challenging behaviours.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day
* Helping students develop positive coping strategies
* Supporting emotional wellbeing and resilience
* Encouraging participation within lessons
* Working alongside safeguarding and pastoral teams
* Promoting positive behaviour and attendance
Working Pattern:
* Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
* Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience within education, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, or care
* Positive and professional attitude
* Excellent behaviour management skills
* Full-time availability
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
