Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
Hours
Monday to Friday, 7:00am‑4:30pm (7:00am‑12:00pm on Fridays).
Salary
£42,000‑£45,000 per annum, plus benefits, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, life assurance and pension (8%).
Location
Commutable from Camberley, Aldershot, Farnham, Farnborough, Bracknell, Guildford and surrounding areas.

We are actively recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work within a small and well established company. You will benefit from opportunities to enhance your learning and growth by taking advantage of the internal and external training on offer, to become a better and more rounded Engineer. It is to work in a small team of 2 Engineers completing planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns and complete various projects and installation work. It is varied, fun and enjoyable. Over the next 18 months, there are a lot of new projects in the pipeline it's an exciting time to join!
Requirements
* A background in Maintenance engineering in any environment, such as manufacturing, production, industrial, facilities, FMCG, building services or similar type production/manufacturing environments.
* Have completed a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship or hold mechanical engineering qualifications i.e. NVQ or C&G Level 3 in mechanical or similar.
* Experience and skills across some of the following: motors, belts, bearings, chains, gear boxes, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, turning, milling, manual machining, welding, fabricating.
* Great attitude with the genuine desire to settle and be part of a great small team.
* Highly adaptable and happy to turn their hands to all areas.
Responsibilities
* Undertake planned maintenance, react to breakdowns, deliver equipment upgrades, new installations and infrastructure changes, together with building maintenance as required.
* Anyone with manual machining knowledge and/or experience to help make up parts would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
