Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the After School Club at All Saints Junior School in Fleet, Hampshire (GU51).
* Print daily registers and manage the safe and secure sign-in/sign-out process, communicating effectively with school staff and parents.
* Develop and deliver activities aligned with the KOOSA Kids programme, directing colleagues as appropriate.
* Be aware of and sensitive to any children with additional needs (physical, behavioural, dietary).
* Purchase healthy snacks for the After School Club.
* Maintain understanding of Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids policies and procedures, including safeguarding; report concerns to the Safeguarding Officer promptly.
* Ensure the club operates in line with Ofsted and KOOSA Kids policies at all times.
* Carry out daily risk assessments and complete operational paperwork.
* Ensure activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day and undertake cleaning duties as necessary.
Skills & Experience
* Ideally a minimum of 2 years managerial/supervisory experience in a childcare, early years or playwork setting.
* A Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Childcare or Playwork (or equivalent) is beneficial but not essential.
* Experience in a Primary School, Pre-School or Nursery setting (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator, Nursery Manager or Assistant) is advantageous.
* Reliable and passionate about working with children.
* Ability to relate to and engage with children aged 4-11 years.

Hours
Monday - Friday, 3.00pm - 6.00pm, term-time only.
