What is the job role?
Park Hill Primary are looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant who has a real passion for working with children.
The Supervisory role will involve:
1. Ensuring the supervision, safety and welfare of pupils during their mid-day break: in the dinner areas, playground and circulation areas
2. Assisting with the setting out and clearing away of tables before and after lunch, clearing tables and disposing of waste food and drink
3. Improving children’s enjoyment of lunchtime, by setting up and leading play activities, which will include supervising games, encouraging appropriate use of equipment both on the playground and in the classrooms (during wet play)
4. Managing and promotingthe positive behaviour of children
