Overview
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join the Isle of Ely Community Rehabilitation Team based at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Lynn Road, Ely, CB6 1DN. The role is suitable for an experienced OT and involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing high quality rehabilitation to patients with physical disabilities in their home environment.

Travel Requirements
You will be required to travel independently around the county, meeting strict time deadlines. You must hold a full UK driving licence* and have access to a vehicle. Public transport cannot be used.
Key Responsibilities
* Work as an autonomous practitioner within the Community Rehabilitation team to provide a high standard of care.
* Assess, plan and develop specialist occupational therapy programmes for patients with complex needs.
* Manage your own caseload, prioritise referrals, signpost appropriately and undertake assessment of patients with multiple pathologies using specialist clinical reasoning skills.
* Supervise junior staff and students, oversee patient intervention and ensure that Senior Therapy Assistants and Therapy Assistants deliver high quality patient care.
Key Requirements
* Full UK driving licence and personal vehicle.
* Experience as an occupational therapist capable of working autonomously.
* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage caseloads.
* Strong clinical reasoning and evidence‑based practice skills.
* Knowledge of codes of practice and professional guidelines.
* Experience in holistic assessment and promoting independence of patients.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and timely written records in line with Trust policy and HCPC guidance.
* Commitment to risk assessments and health and safety procedures.
