We operate 24/7 and your hours will be flexible; you will be required to work weekends and participate in an on‑call rota. Full training, PPE and company equipment will be provided.
Location: Deepham Sewage Treatment Works, North London Region (Enfield, North London)
Job Type: Permanent, full‑time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours plus every other weekend (working both earlies and lates)
Salary: OTE £37,000 per annum (made up of basic pay, overtime, on call allowance and bonuses)

Responsibilities
* Travelling to residential sites in a van you are responsible for, around the region, powering a high‑pressure water jet for restoration
* Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems
* Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided
* Run diagnostics and repairs on drains
* Delivering good customer service
* Maintaining good health and safety practise while carrying out works
* Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished
* Comply with health and safety responsibilities, i.e. PPE / safe site setups protecting Lanes Group employees, the public and other road users
* Utilise VISTEC and Salesforce platforms
* Work unsupervised in all weather conditions, wearing correct PPE and utilising the lone worker system
* Dynamically risk assess site access and working conditions depending on specific circumstances on arrival
* Liaising with the client regarding process and any updates
* Provide support to your colleagues
* Conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment and plant before and after use
* Report any defects or malfunctions
* Carry out risk assessments and have a mature approach to risk perception
* Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them
* Any other reasonable ad‑hoc tasks, duties or projects as requested by management
About You
* The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards.
* Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential.
* Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage.
* You must have a full UK driver's licence as our vehicles are all manual.
