Neighbourhood Officer Salary: £35,535 per annum Location: Long Stratton, Norwich, Norfolk Fulltime: 37hrs per week Fixed Term Contract (6 Months) We have an exciting opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer towork as part of a customer focused, collaborative team responsible for the management of the Trusts estates, including investigating breaches of tenancy, ensuring that anti-social behaviour is addressed by working in collaboration with external partners, regularly monitoring the Trusts estates to ensure areas are safe, clean and well maintained. Key Responsibilities Include: To investigate all complaints in respect of neighbour nuisance and anti-social behaviour and take steps to resolve these within the Trusts policies and procedures. To provide ahigh leveltenancy management service within a geographical area, including ensuring tenancy conditions arecomplied with. To attend court torepresentthe Trust and provide witness statements asrequired Undertake accompanied viewings, tenancy "sign ups" to properties (includingrequiredfollow up visits) and end of tenancy liaison. To carry out tenant consultation on issues of housing management and encourageparticipation generally. To attend evening meetings as required in connection with Tenant and Resident Involvement. Skills,Knowledgeand Abilities: Experience of working within Housing or a similar customer focused organisation. An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection of business information. Possess excellent communication,negotiationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various audiences both in writing and verbally. Excellent time management skills, including an ability to prioritise workload and meet targets. Able to work as part of a teamand alsoable to work independently without the need of close supervision. Possessa high levelof accuracy and attention to detail when recording information. Possess good IT skills to include use of Word, Excel,Outlookand Teams.
