Cover Supervisor - Kettering Secondary Schools | Full-Time & Part-Time Available £100 - £120 per day (depending on experience) Immediate & Ongoing Opportunities Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a number of secondary schools in the Kettering area who are seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to support with day-to-day and long-term cover. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment. The Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for: Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies Ensuring a positive, safe, and productive learning environment Supporting pupils with engagement and task completion Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and behaviour The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential) Be confident managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour Have strong communication and interpersonal skills Be flexible, adaptable, and reliable Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service This role is particularly well-suited to: Graduates considering a career in teaching Teaching Assistants or Support Staff looking to step up Individuals with experience in youth work, coaching, or pastoral support Why Work with Tradewind Recruitment?
