This role offers the chance to work on advanced electro‑mechanical products for international clients managing products from initial design through to manufacturing. Based in Nottinghamshire with a starting salary of between £45,000 - £50,000 with excellent career progression opportunities. Responsibilities of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will include: Designing, developing and testing electro‑mechanical products. Producing specifications, reports and detailed drawings. Creating 3D designs in SolidWorks and leading design reviews. Supporting fault analysis, verification testing and production improvements. Mentoring junior engineers and managing design changes. Key skills needed for this Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proven mechanical design experience. Proficient in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (injection moulding, CNC milling). Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively.
