We help them by putting in place a plan of action to get their finances in order and in addition to that, we ensure that everything runs smoothly along the way. We now have two exciting opportunities for a qualified and a part-qualified Accountants to join our growing team and support the finance functions in Academy Trusts across the country. This is an ideal role for a hardworking, confident, and driven team player who wishes to join a growing and successful organisation. The right individual will be able to progress with time and build on their skills and knowledge. What we need from you to apply for this role: Hold an AAT qualification or similar Ideally you will have experience of working within the education or charity sectors Must be familiar with accountancy software, such as Sage/Xero etc Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel The ability to confidently analyse data and identify the drivers of cost and overspend A firm understanding of accounting and month end tasks Core accounting skills and management accounts understanding Able to work either from home or office or onsite with clients Duties will include: Management accounts VAT returns New finance system implementation Budget preparation Running outsourced finance functions for smaller clients Company secretary duties We offer a competitive salary of £18,000 - £35,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and accountancy qualifications. Core hours of work are 7 per day Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm with flexibility given on start and finish times.
