You will play a key role in winning, onboarding, and servicing new SME commercial clients, delivering high‑quality advice and ensuring a smooth placement process. This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial insurance knowledge, excellent client‑facing skills, and a proactive approach to generating and converting new business opportunities. Key responsibilities: Handle all new business enquiries for SME commercial clients, ensuring accurate fact‑finding and risk capture. Prepare and issue new business quotations, working closely with insurers to secure competitive terms. Support Account Executives with prospecting, pipeline management, and conversion activity. Administer policies and coordinate with insurers and clients to deliver optimal solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders. Ensure all documentation, system entries, and compliance requirements are completed accurately. Identify opportunities for cross‑sell and up‑sell across wider proposition. Provide exceptional service throughout the onboarding process to maximise client satisfaction and retention. Key Skills & Experience: Experience in commercial insurance, ideally within SME or mid‑market environments. Strong understanding of core commercial lines (Property, Liability, Motor, PI, Cyber, etc.). Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport. Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple enquiries. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment. Progress towards Cert CII (or willingness to study)
