Job Description
As a Corporate Actions Analyst, you'll manage the full life cycle of corporate actions impacting client portfolios, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and minimal operational risk. You'll work closely with Front Office teams, custodians, and counterparties to deliver timely and accurate outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, process, and reconcile mandatory/voluntary corporate actions (eg, dividends, mergers, rights issues).
* Communicate event details and election options to clients and stakeholders.
* Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
* Investigate and resolve breaks/fails.
* Liaise with internal teams and external parties to validate entitlements.
* Support audits, UAT, and process improvements.
* Adhere to risk, compliance, and control frameworks.
Skills & Experience
* 2+ years' corporate actions experience in wealth/private/investment banking.
* Strong understanding of securities operations, settlement systems (Crest, SWIFT, Euroclear), and workflows.
* Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills.
* Experience with Avaloq, TCS BaNCS, or similar systems desirable.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations (CASS, MiFID II, T+1) beneficial.
Education
* Degree or equivalent experience in Finance/Economics desirable.
* Professional qualifications (eg, CISI IOC) a plus.
