Chartered Building Surveyor
£65,000 - £75,000 basic + OTE up to £85,000
📍 West Midlands and Central England
This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid working pattern. The role sits within a growing consultancy and focuses on insurance-led residential and commercial instructions across the region.
🎯 Responsibilities
* Inspect and advise on design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of buildings
* Undertake measured surveys, defect diagnosis and condition assessments
* Prepare reports, specifications and drawings for repair, reinstatement, demolition and rebuild works
* Act as lead consultant, including design, contract administration and tender analysis
* Oversee works on site, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations, Building Regulations and health and safety requirements
✅ Requirements
* MRICS qualified Chartered Building Surveyor
* Experience in project management, design and contract administration
* Strong technical knowledge of building pathology and construction
* Understanding of CDM Regulations, Party Wall matters, Building Regulations and planning legislation
* Full UK driving licence and ability to manage workload independently
💰 Salary & Package
* £65,000 - £75,000 basic salary
* Bonus with typical OTE £75,000 - £85,000
