Technical Architect – Gaming Industry
A leading gaming company in the gambling sector is currently undergoing a significant digital transformation and is seeking a talented Technical Architect to help lead the design, development, and implementation of mission-critical systems across Lottery, Betting, and Gaming.
The successful applicant will work closely with senior stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to lead the design and development of applications using Java Spring Boot, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. The candidate will also support automation within AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes and integrate APIs for third-party payment systems.
This is an excellent opportunity to operate as a technical leader within one of the most innovative gaming organisations. The role is remote across the UK, with travel to European offices twice a month. The position has been signed off at £100,000 to £120,000 + benefits.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience working as an architect, designing and developing solutions in Java Spring Boot.
* Prior experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
* Experience with DevOps, building CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
* Expertise in API design and integration of payment systems.
* Strong knowledge of database design, preferably with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL.
* Knowledge of, or experience working with, RabbitMQ.
