Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (30 hours/week)

Key Health are supporting an established independent mental health provider in Bristol to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist for a female acute inpatient service. This is a rare opportunity to take a clinical leadership role in a modern, well-resourced hospital that delivers high-quality care to patients referred through NHS pathways.
You’ll be supported by a strong Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), including a Specialty Doctor, and work within a progressive and stable environment that prioritises collaboration, patient-centred care, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead psychiatric care for a female acute inpatient ward
* Conduct assessments, manage treatment plans, and oversee risk reviews
* Provide clinical leadership and supervision for junior medical staff
* Contribute to governance, service development, and team-wide learning
* Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including NHS referrers
Requirements:
* GMC-registered with licence to practise
* CCT in General Adult Psychiatry
* Section 12 and Approved Clinician (AC) status
* Experience working at Consultant level, ideally within NHS or independent mental health settings
* Skilled in managing acute mental health presentations and working within MDTs
