An International Law Firm is looking for a Senior AML Analyst to join their dynamic team in London.
Within this role, you will manage all regulatory aspects relative to the firm’s smooth operation and ensure best practices are followed. You will work closely with key internal stakeholders along with senior staff and wider departments.
This position is perfect for someone with extensive experience as an AML Analyst (or similar role) working within a law firm, wherein they gained a strong knowledge of UK AML Regulations and SRA Standards and Regulations.
Some responsibilities:
* Conduct AML and conflicts checks for new and existing clients/matters, addressing queries and escalating complex issues where necessary.
* Contribute to ongoing improvements of AML-related policies and procedures
* Work with the wider team to ensure AML processes are implemented to a high standard
* Work collaboratively with various internal departments when necessary
* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current AML regulations, best practices and procedures
* Supervise and support some analysts, providing guidance and expertise where required
* Serve as an escalation point for junior members of staff
* Liaise with fee earners and staff where required, maintaining professionalism
