Base pay range
Intune Consultant - 6-month contract - Sunderland (Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced Intune Consultant to join a key project, working alongside a third-party vendor to implement Microsoft Intune based on a high-level design provided by the vendor. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in device management, application protection, and security compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the vendor and internal stakeholders to implement Intune in line with the supplied high-level design.
2. Configure and deploy Intune for both Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) scenarios.
3. Provide technical input and support across Intune implementation phases including pilot, testing, rollout, and support.
4. Lead the integration of Intune into the existing IT environment.
5. Support documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness.
Essential Skills and Experience
1. Proven experience implementing Microsoft Intune in enterprise environments.
2. Strong knowledge of MDM and MAM policies and configurations.
3. Familiarity with Windows, iOS, and Android device management via Intune.
4. Experience working with third-party vendors on IT implementations.
5. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
1. Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and compliance policy configuration in Microsoft 365.
2. Background in migrating from hybrid Active Directory to a cloud-only Azure AD environment.
3. Knowledge of Conditional Access, Autopilot, and Endpoint Security configurations.
