We’re recruiting an HR Advisor to join an internal HR department within a well-established business. As the HR Advisor, you’ll work closely with managers across the business, providing practical advice and guidance on day-to-day HR matters.
This HR Advisor role would suit someone with experience in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment, who enjoys being hands-on and building strong working relationships.
Key responsibilities of the HR Advisor role:
Providing day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees
Managing employee relations cases including absence, performance, disciplinaries and grievances
Supporting recruitment activities, onboarding and probation processes
Assisting with the development and updating of HR policies and procedures
Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with current employment legislation
Supporting managers with HR best practice and people-related queries
Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting HR reporting where needed
Requirements of the HR Advisor role:
Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
Experience within manufacturing or a similar environment would be ideal
CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential
Confident advising managers on HR matters in a practical and approachable way
Strong communication skills with a calm, organised approach
