Lead Sal esforce Architect & Product Owner Retail Sector Were looking for a Lead Salesforce Architect with retail sector experience who combines deep technical expertise with strong Product Owner capability. Youll shape the long-term Salesforce strategy, own the product roadmap, and lead the design of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across our organisation. This is a role for someone who can move seamlessly between enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and business-facing product leadership. Youll be the trusted authority for Salesforce across the business, guiding engineering teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and ensuring our platform evolves in line with strategic goals. Key requirements: Extensive experience as a Salesforce Architect, ideally at Lead or Principal level. Strong background in Product Ownership, Agile delivery, and roadmap management. Deep knowledge of Salesforce clouds, platform capabilities, and architectural patterns. Experience designing secure, scalable integrations (REST, middleware, event-driven patterns). Ability to lead technical teams while also engaging confidently with non-technical stakeholders. Salesforce certifications such as CTA, Application Architect, System Architect, or relevant cloud specialisms (highly desirable). What Youll Do: Define and own the Salesforce architecture vision, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and future scalability. Lead end-to-end solution design across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom applications. Oversee integration patterns, data models, API strategy, and security architecture (SSO, OAuth, role hierarchy, permission sets). Provide technical governance, code review oversight, and architectural assurance across multiple delivery teams. Champion best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, testing automation, and environment management for Salesforce. Act as Product Owner for the Salesforce platform, shaping the roadmap based on business value, user needs, and technical constraints. Translate business objectives into clear epics, features, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria. Prioritise the backlog, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure delivery teams have clarity and direction. Drive continuous improvement, user adoption, and platform optimisation. Partner with senior leaders across Sales, Service, Marketing, Operations, and Technology. Communicate complex architectural concepts in a clear, business-friendly way. Influence decision-making with data, insight, and a strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities. £95k-£105k benefits. London & 80% remote.
