Sales Administrator

Hays are working with a renowned company in Rugeley who are looking to recruit a Sales Administrator on a permanent basis. This is an exciting new role which has been created due to growth.
Your new role
As a Sales Administrator, your role will be to focus on providing a high level of customer service to new and existing customers. You will need a proactive approach to help generate leads and promote existing business. You will work very closely alongside the Business Development Manager working on the following:
1. Handling incoming calls to quote prices & lead times to customers and any other general enquiries
2. Build a level of technical product knowledge & work with a Technical Sales Assistant when needed to support sales techniques.
3. Processing customer orders via telephone and email.
4. Create customer orders in our ERP system and email confirmations.
5. Processing customer complaints and returns.
6. Maintaining customer database to ensure up-to-date and relevant information is held.
7. Maintain communication between Customer, Purchasing and Production Departments to ensure target delivery dates are achieved.
8. Making outgoing calls to inform customers of any delays.
9. Make pro-active sales calls to existing & new customers to promote our products
