Overview
Geosense, a leading manufacturer of geotechnical sensors, is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Sales Coordinator to join our growing sales team. This role is key to managing customer expectations, ensuring excellent service, and supporting the sales process from enquiry through to order completion.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware, and able to build strong relationships with both customers and internal teams, while ensuring that customer experience always exceeds expectations.
Duties
* Positively represent Geosense in all customer and stakeholder interactions.
* Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls and emails.
* Liaise with internal departments to provide customers with accurate updates on orders, lead times, and requirements.
* Develop strong customer relationships, ensuring excellent service at all times.
* Generate quotes for existing clients and simple projects, raise proforma invoices, and process orders.
* Check documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate records.
* Provide administrative support to Technical Sales Engineers.
* Identify potential issues, proactively suggest solutions, and escalate where required to the Inside Sales Lead.
* Follow company procedures, while recommending improvements and optimisations where appropriate.
* Build and maintain product knowledge, staying up to date with changes.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties to support the needs of the business.
Experience
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a B2B sales-aligned role.
* Strong understanding of the sales process.
* Basic knowledge of the market and Geosense products.
* Highly organised, able to prioritise and multitask under pressure.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Clear and confident communicator, both verbal and written.
* Computer literate with good IT skills.
* Resourceful, with a practical approach to problem solving.
* Able to work independently and use initiative.
* Adaptable to changing workloads and deadlines, with strong time management.
* Commercial awareness.
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and customer-focused.
* Calm under pressure, flexible, and a strong team player.
* Confident and friendly manner.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £29,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
