My client based in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a skilled finance professional to lead the delivery of accurate and insightful financial reporting across key business areas. This role offers the opportunity to manage a small team and collaborate cross-functionally to drive strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare timely and accurate management accounts for core business units
* Analyse and interpret financial variances against budgets and forecasts
* Oversee the production and review of balance sheet reconciliations
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three, fostering a high-performance culture
* Liaise with external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance
* Collaborate with internal teams including finance, operations, procurement, and legal to support business goals
* Present complex financial insights to senior stakeholders in a clear and actionable format
* Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial integrity
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes
