In this role, you will report to the Supply Chain Manager & will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of UK Production Planning activities, including replenishment of chemicals and packaging components, and ordering routine site consumables.
This is a full-time position, with an early finish on Fridays, allowing for a healthy work-life balance and the chance to enjoy all that Bridgwater and the surrounding area has to offer.
The role:
* Execution of local (UK) Production Planning activities, scheduling, and raising of production orders.
* Order placement and progress chasing of materials and components to maintain stock levels.
* In-house printing of product labels for weekly production plans.
* Placement of orders for replenishment of consumables.
The person:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a Production Planning role, preferably within manufacturing and/or chemical industries.
* Proven track record of planning and scheduling a large and complex product portfolio.
* Experience in replenishing a large and complex raw material and component inventory from multiple vendors.
* Experience working with third-party manufacturers (3PM) and suppliers of finished product packs.
* Excellent planning, communication, organizational, and task prioritization skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to develop strong collaborative relationships internally and externally.
