Type of Contract: Full‑Time, Permanent (40 hours per week). Sponsorship is not offered for this role.
Salary:> £55,000

Responsibilities
* All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met.
* Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate.
* Using a variety of learning and teaching methods and materials.
* Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties.
* Keeping up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices.
* Working towards objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression.
Qualifications
* Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
* Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area.
* Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
* Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
* Experience in accurate reporting and maintaining thorough, organised student records.
* Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
* Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
Desirable
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years), or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent).
* Experience in design/development of academic or professional education programmes.
