About the Role As Head Chef, you will be responsible for driving kitchen excellence, inspiring a dedicated team, and delivering outstanding dining experiences. You'll have the freedom to innovate, develop menus, and champion fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. Key Responsibilities * Lead, mentor, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality dishes. * Create innovative, seasonal menus highlighting local produce. * Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. * Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including stock control, budgeting, and training. * Collaborate with management to enhance the overall guest experience. Requirements * Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior role. * Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills. * Creative flair and a passion for food. * Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. * Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen compliance. * Positive, collaborative attitude. Qualifications * NVQ Level 3 in Catering or equivalent. * Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate. * Culinary degree or equivalent professional training. * Strong understanding of cooking techniques and dietary requirements.
