Financial Accountant – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience
Location: Warwick (Hybrid, 60% in the office)

In the UK, our Financial Control & Accounting (FCA) team plays a vital role in that mission, supporting businesses across Renault Trucks, Volvo Trucks, Volvo Bus and Penta. You will report directly to the Chief Accountant and focus on accurate period-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, and compliance with UK GAAP, IAS, and Volvo’s internal policies.
This is a role for a precise, curious professional who values continuous improvement and teamwork.
Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate and timely period-end reporting for Volvo Group UK Limited, including Renault Trucks UK reporting and revenue recognition.
* Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and resolve issues before monthly reviews.
* Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, policies, and controls.
* Use Excel daily for reconciliations, analysis, and reporting.
* Work closely with your manager and colleagues on ad hoc tasks that make a real impact across the business.
Who You Are
* You may be a newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), or a part-qualified accountant nearing the end of exams with solid accounting experience.
* Strong Excel skills — including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
* Experience with reconciliations and financial reporting.
* Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
* A methodical mindset with attention to detail and a drive to resolve issues effectively.
