Better Cotton Initiative is looking for a Field Digitalisation Manager to drive the digital transformation of field data across the organisation.
About The Job
The Field Digitalisation Manager plays a pivotal role in transforming how field data is collected, managed, and used across the organisation by leading the rollout of digital tools, developing data policies and standards, building team and partner capacity, and driving geospatial and impact evidence innovation.

Responsibilities
* Rollout and implementation of field data policies & standards
* Supervise and oversee the field data digitalisation rollout
* Lead geospatial innovation, including pilot design, remote sensing and tool diversification
* Conceptualise and implement impact crediting based on field data
* Capacity building: train and support in‑country staff on digital tools, GIS, and impact data
* Collaborate cross‑functionally with MEL, IT, Programs, Traceability and Standards/Assurance teams
* Manage resources, budget and line‑manage global and country teams
Essential Requirements
* Strategic thinking aligned with IT & data priorities
* Process improvement and scalable solutions for digital workflows
* Leadership & coaching of cross‑functional teams across geographies
* Deep technical knowledge of digital tools such as PowerBI, CommCare, ODK and QGIS
* Data governance & standards development for field data
* Experience in IT product, project and change management
Desirable Requirements
* Experience with supply chains, textiles and sustainability standards
* Background in UX, interaction or service design (wireframes, prototyping)
* Understanding of chain‑of‑custody and traceability technologies
* Experience in IT support (1st or 2nd line)

Working Arrangements
