Head of Sales / Commercial Lead (Off-Price / Wholesale / SMU / Margin Ownership / Account Development)

About the Role
You will take ownership of commercial performance across key off-price and wholesale accounts, with a strong focus on developing new business, strengthening existing relationships, and delivering commercially viable product ranges aligned to customer requirements.
This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution, where your ability to drive revenue and manage margin will have a direct impact on business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Ownership & Growth
Drive revenue growth across UK and European off-price and wholesale accounts
Identify and unlock new business opportunities across major retail groups
Take ownership of commercial performance, including sales targets and margin delivery
Account Development & Relationship Management
Build and develop relationships with key retail partners (off-price, value and volume-led accounts)
Strengthen existing accounts while expanding into new territories and customers
Lead commercial negotiations and trading discussions
Product & SMU Development
Work closely with internal teams to develop SMU ranges tailored to customer requirements
Align product offering with pricing targets, customer needs, and market demand
Ensure commercial viability across all product categories
Pricing, Margin & Commercial Strategy
Own pricing strategy and margin delivery across accounts
Balance volume growth with profitability targets
Drive commercially sound decision-making across all sales activity
Support and develop an existing sales team
Work cross-functionally with product and design teams
Contribute to building a scalable commercial structure as the business grows
About You
Strong experience within off-price / wholesale apparel
Proven track record of opening and scaling key retail accounts
Deep understanding of pricing, margin and volume-driven environments
Experience working with SMU product development and cross-functional teams
Hands-on commercial operator — comfortable building business, not just managing
Strong network across UK and/or European retail markets
