New Directions Education is currently recruiting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work within EYFS classes across a number of welcoming primary schools in Ellesmere Port.
This is a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified teachers to gain valuable classroom experience, build confidence in EYFS settings, and work flexibly in supportive schools.

Job Specification
An EYFS Teacher works in day nurseries and also nursery or reception classes in infant or primary schools.
The development areas typically covered by EYFS teachers include:

18. Expressive arts and design.
As an EYFS teacher you’ll be expected to:
19. Hold QTS status
20. Teach all areas of the Early Years Statutory Framework
21. Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a safe and positive teaching environment
22. Plan and prepare activities that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within their class
23. Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;
24. Maintain discipline
25. Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
26. Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
27. Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
28. Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
29. Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly in smaller schools and day-nurseries.
