Sideloader Operator

* Rotating Shift Pattern (40 hrs per week)

We are currently recruiting for a Sideloader Operator to join our team within our Sawn Timber Yard at our Carlisle mill. As a Sideloader Operator, you will be responsible for various duties across the yard, working both within a team and individually.
Responsibilities of a Mobile Plant Operator include:
* Movement of sawn timber from sawmill to stock locations around the site.
* Operation of a Side Loader & other mobile plant vehicles.
* Scanning timber packs to determine stock and log positions.
About you:
We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals who are focused and able to meet deadlines. You should also have:
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
* Willingness to undertake all relevant training required for the role.
* Experience operating mobile plant is preferred but not essential, as full training is provided.
* Experience in a manufacturing or similar production environment is advantageous.
* Full driving license.
