Role responsibilities
To identify and deploy the people, culture and organisational strategies which ensure that TfW is able to develop as an employer of choice and a great place to work for its people.
1. Be accountable for our people/organisational development strategy, by working with the senior leadership team and managing a team of specialist professions to facilitate positive change within our organisational and deliver our cultural ambitions. ·
2. Lead on the strategic resourcing part of TfW by identifying key roles for future organisational success and deploy targeted attraction and retention / programmes to ensure the organisation sources any capability needed for sustained high performance.
3. Working with expertise in the People and Culture Team, determine the internal capability development required for future organisational success and deliver appropriate performance management and development solutions to meet this need.
4. Be accountable for the Learning and Development strategy, by reviewing TfW's organisation wide skills gap and delivering a systemic plan that focuses on employee capabilities, to establish a culture of professional development and to continually minimise the skills gap.
Who we’re looking for
5. Professional or academic qualification,. CIPD, and/or extensive demonstrable experience of working in a strategic OD/Learning/Cultural work capacity.
6. Thorough understanding of broader operational OD and alignment to people practices.
7. Demonstrable experience of cultural change and transformation, including understanding in using and deploying cultural models.
8. Demonstrable understanding of the alignment of OD and Culture progression, challenge and change.
9. Clear ability in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
